This year, The Classic has created a questionnaire meant to give readers a window into the thoughts and experiences of various members of the Townsend Harris community.
Since our first two profiles, we have partnered with our yearbook, The Crimson and Gold to spotlight more seniors. This interview was conducted by Leida Hot, of the Crimson and Gold staff.
Note: This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

What kind of teaching method do you think is most effective and why? You have visual, audio, group work, independent work, slides, creative projects. Alternatively, what helps you learn best?
Bella
I think projects are the most effective way to learn because they give you multiple days to work on them. The repetition helps the information stick, and since it's also hands on, it helps you remember what you have learned.
The Classic
What colors and why would you assign your folder for the core subjects? English, math, science, social studies, and world languages.
Bella
I don’t really care about the color of my notebooks now. However, this might be a little controversial but back in elementary school I would organize it as:

Math: Black
Science: Purple
Social Studies: Blue
Languages: red
